Volvo To Adopt Tesla’s NACS Charging Inlet For BEVs In North America From 2025
A new megawatt power EV charging connector for AC and DC charging nears alpha field trials.
Both charging connector types will be available for order in North America.

The company intends to offer a NACS connector option at existing and future charging stations by 2025.
New Polestar vehicles sold in the US and Canada from 2025 will be equipped with the NACS charging port by default.

Customers can place pre-orders immediately, while production of NACS-compatible units will start later this year.
