How does the new Kona Electric fair in efficiency with extended highway driving? And how does it compare to the Volvo EX30?

The base version has almost 300 miles of EPA range, the top one 273 miles due to AWD and bigger wheels.

The RS RWD version uses an estimated 2.7 miles/kWh and the EPA range is 324 miles.

The result is good, but only slightly better than in the case of the regular version.

The EPA driving range varies between 300 and 335 miles, while its total energy consumption is 2.7-3.0 miles/kWh.

The entry-level version offers 402 miles of EPA range. The top version with 21-inch wheels is much quicker but has 20% less range.

The new Long Range RWD version might even be a bit better.

The A-Spec versions have over 300 miles of EPA range, the Type S is under 300 miles.

The EPA driving range of the model exceeds 340 miles, but one configuration gets less than 250 miles.

The dual-motor, all-wheel drive version is less efficient and has less range.
