EVs take 27.3% share in Germany, up from 19.3% share year‑on‑year. BEVs were back to decent volume compared to 2024.

February’s auto market saw plugin EVs take 33.9% share in the UK, up from 24.8% year-on-year. BEVs grew in volume by 42% YoY.

The February auto market saw plugin EVs take 96.2% share in Norway, up from 92.1% year-on-year. BEVs continue to squeeze out other powertrains

February saw plugin EVs take 61.1% share in Sweden, up strongly from 51.8% in February 2024. Most of the increase came from BEVs.

February’s auto market saw plugin EVs at 22.5% share in France, down from 26.3% year-on-year. BEVs were effectively flat YoY, PHEVs fell.

January saw plugin EVs at 25.1% share in Germany, up from 17.3% year-on-year. BEV volume shot up over 53% YoY.

January saw plugin EVs take 96.9% share in Norway, up from 93.9% year on year. BEVs alone took almost 96% of the market.

January’s auto sales saw plugin EVs at 51.6% share in Sweden, down slightly YoY from 52.5% in January 2024. BEV share was fractionally up YoY.

November’s auto sales saw plugin EVs take 21.6% share in France, a drop from 25.0% year on year (YoY). Most of the drop came from weak PHEVs.

December saw plugin EVs take 23.4% share in Germany, down from 30.0% share YoY. BEV volume was sharply down YoY in a hold-back.
