The company currently has capacity to build about 2 million cars a year at 4 factories, in Fremont, California; Shanghai, China; Austin, Texas; and Berlin, Germany, with Mexico next on the list. It has set a goal of eventually building 20 million cars a year. Is this enough to offset the influence of Tesla's mercurial CEO?
